Criteria to be considered by the selection committee:

• Career Accomplishments: What is the nominee’s significant contribution to the live events and pro-av profession
• Design Creativity & Uniqueness: How did the nominee utilize his/her role as the lead designer to effectively convey the client’s message in unique and creative ways? What was the impact of that design for the attendee?
• Effective Use of Technology: What technology did the designer incorporate into the effective design – specifically highlight new technologies, creative and unique or cutting-edge utilization of key technologies selected. How did this elevate the attendee experience?
• Elements Statement: Provide summary of the event, including any client supplied themes, goals and objectives, and number of expected attendees. Nominee will be judged on how well the event design met the purpose, theme, goals and objectives, and the different unique or creative qualities.
• Client and Colleague Testimonials: Client generated testimonials of nominee’s work product quality. You may also include a colleague statement of what sets him/her apart from other designers.

Additional Notes:

• You may include supporting information for the nomination in the form of any published articles or write-ups, photo sheet or rendering, and/or nominee’s bio or CV
• The scoring is on a 1-5 scale with 1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest.
• The selection committee is looking for well rounded individuals.
• Nominee must be a current member of AVIXA
• The Awards Committee reserves the right to withdraw the award for a given year if there are not sufficient nominations to determine and appropriate winner.
